My little journal

Made some valentines today for the shop, but I want to keep them, there so cute .

Thanks for all your comments on my last post and all your ideas for the magazine piles.. I think I am going to go through all my magazines and create an inspiring journal, just one place to go instead of going through every magazine to find one thing. All the magazines except the Somerset ones. Those to me are like books.Maybe a sweet little decorating journal with a cover like this only maybe with a chandelier on front instead of this sweet little girl. Here is a little journal I made. I think is showed you the cover before but I added a picture and the words my little journal along with some petite tinsel string.

I love the way it turned out and it makes me want to make more, using scraps of my vintage wallpapers along with other little vintage tidbits.
PhotobucketNot sure what I'll doodle in it? Do you journal and if so what do you journal about???
PhotobucketDo you use markers, pens, pencils? paint? Each page has been stitched with my sewing machine and with all these blank pages I wonder what should I do next?

PhotobucketI also used a whole lot of glue sticks too! I would love to know about your journaling and what should fill these pages.Nothing or daydreams of wishful thinking, flea market adventures???

Heres one page I did for a the journal, but did not sew it in. I decided to go with all the pages blank. Not sure if I should have used markers instead of pen? What do you think?I wrote Gracie loves elmo, her gameboy and mommy too? I think I need some journaling help!! So help me!!

Love your journal - sometimes when I look at journals I think I would hate to actually write in it and make it messy looking.
How sweet your Valentines are.
Looks like Matthew had a Happy 4th Birthday

These hearts are too cute Andrea and I love your journals. I am planning to journal, but in fact I don't. Either I write dairies without glueing too much or I make a journal out of torn photos from magazines in which I hardly write. Now, I am not much of a help I guess, but my advise would be, just go with the flow. If you journal about your daughter just write down things that she wants to hear. Like: we loved you in the moment we saw you, you were the most beautiful baby we had ever seen. Or; you were always so full of life: each day with you we started was a new adventure etc. etc. Once you get started, things will get easier and if not, just put the journal aside for a while.
Happy belated birthday wishes to Matthew! Mmm chocolate cupcakes...

Andrea, your journal is gorgeous...the only one i have is the one i made during Heather's class...there is almost no writing in it...i just filled it up with the pretty things i like to look at...if you use google reader, you can do an art journal search...or look it up on google images...and see what kind of journal you like the best...as for what to write...i think you just have to follow your heart...
