Oh, you have my prayer. Listen when you get there tell them you're really nervous and you would like some really good drugs. They will give you something fabulous, you will immediately not give a crap where you are or what they are doing. I was a nurse in a previous life. It is hard to believe, but some people really don't worry or get nervous. I'm like you! So, unless you verbalize and ask they won't offer. Blog as soon as you can! I am sure I am the 100th person to say, you will be fine! But, a little prayer can't hurt!

Yes, prayers for you. You will do well! I agree with The Polka Dot Closet, you can have drugs to calm you and you will relax. They will take care of you.

Andrea, Ive had a couple procedures on my heart for an arithmia, where they go in through the groin up into the heart. It is scarey, but like the polkadotcloset says, ask for good drugs. Theres no reason to be too stressed when there are such wonderful drugs that can prevent that!
Hope all is well and that you will share your experience with us!
sending up a prayer for you!
hugs

I just found your blog from my friend, Jodie of Everything Vintage, and I'm so glad I found it today! I will be praying for you while you undergo your surgery, praying that the doctor's are alert and have a passion for their job, that the nurses are attentive, that God takes away your nervousness (remember that He invented drugs...LOL) and that you have an easy, successful and quick recovery.

Know that you are being prayed for. God bless you, Jan

Now, I'm off to check out the rest of your blog - look for me to become a follower:)
