I heart Altered couture and Cath kidston....

Another awesome issue of altered couture ... in which I just recieved my contributors copy ..I created a sweet pair of haute hosiery for this fabulous issue ... There is some really cute stuff in this issue!!!! And wanted to let you know Cath Kidston has a new catalog you can get for FREE!! I got mine already and I love it... packed full of cute things.... so head on over there and get one!

SO excited ...just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you ..just been so busy getting ready for the Funky Junk Sisters Show.. If you live in the area stop by and say Hi! Finished up a cute little banner today with my name on it. that will hang from pieces I have of an old picket fence ..will of course not forget my camera! Ok, I need to make a check list and check it twice ..so much to think about and do !!!

Doing nothing but creating today! ...Getting ready for the Funky Junk show in two weeks! Oh my!This will be my first show and I am so excited! I was also thrilled to receive my contributors copy of the fabulous Somerset Life!! VINTAGE SUE BONNET GIVEAWAY

Introducing the Vintage Sue Bonnet Pattern created by me ........This is the cover of the pattern ,the pattern comes with complete clear instructions ...tried and true...doodles of stitches that can be used on your Sue ..such as lazy daisies and border stitches..create this with fabric or paper.I made this cute little laundry day bag with a vintage fabric sue bonnet front and center!!

This pattern was inspired by this old Sue Bonnet Quilt MY AUNT gave me before she passed away ..about 3 years ago now fron skin cancer at age 50. Still so young...She told me it came from North Dakota and was my Uncle's mom's from around 1930's/40's or so .. I will always treasure it...Here is my little Gracie who just turned 3 nestled in the blanket.
