Pretty Pale spring colors

So spring and pretty~ I love spring time cleaning and bringing out the pale colors, I always go with pale colors for everything and now doing more so with my wallpaper boxes, like this lovely one with the vintage crepe ruffles and velvet ribbons.

This was some of a hoarded vintage wallpaper and decided to use a tiny piece of it for this little box topped with vintage millinery blossoms!

And this one is my absolute favorite! Pale creams and pale pinks with crepe ruffles, also some of that real pretty ledger paper here and there, withr ibbons, just so simple and pretty!I might have to keep this one!



Inspired to journal or collage ??With this pretty journal you would be!I love the pale millinery blossoms with the cream ribbons and vintage ledger paper background~

And this is real spring like ~a glittered bird in a glass cloche topped with hand knotted seam binding ribbon in aqua with a pretty velvet vintage millinery blossom! A few goodies for the shop, I have been trying to be a good little shopkeeper!!
These pale colors are the prettiest to mix with with creams and whites! A not so fussy tussie , this is a meatl one stamped with roses , I tucked in a few of my handmade roses~

wish for scraps??? Vintage wallpaper scraps that is, I keep even really small pieces andthis is what I used them for , so don't throw the little pieces out!Looks pretty with all the glitter on it~ Well these are just a few things I have finished up in my studio, I have had so many unfinished projects so it feels good to finish them so I can make new ones!!!!

Also remembered buying some vintage baby shower napkins at an estate sale a few weeks ago and I am thinking of using those for the invitations, maybe handstitch those cute little miniature baby rattles to one or something! I'll show you what I come up with !!!!!!!!!

Random Thoughts

I love creating , it's something i can't help but do ! Every night after the little ones are in bed I am off to my studio for some creating! And I love how this turned out, made on a vintage sheet music cover , vintage paris labels, vintage everything! Crepe paper, trims,crochet and millinery flowers, even this sweet little vintage handsewn silver sequined star. I was watching Antique Roadshow the other night and I seen some old early 1900's maybe even earlier soldiers medals and one had this exact star on it! I was thinking I have a few of those!
I also was delighted to receive my apron in the mail from Apronolgy , It now hangs in my laundry room window and I do wear it, because it makes me feel pretty!


I picked this pretty tin up this past weekend at a yard sale and now it will be pretty storage in my studio~ The lid has real pretty chippy paint of what was a pretty robins egg blue. Just love those little details!I am also working on details to throw my sister a baby shower, does anyone have any suggestions, I have not thrown one in so long or even been to one in years ! Maybe some cute homemade invitations ?? Chocolate cake?

Vintage Treasures

A sweet vintage box topped with vintage ribbons! I would line the inside with vintage wallpaper and that would be really pretty!

I was so excited when I opened up my mailbox today and seen a package from Karla! I didn't wait till I got home to open it, I opened it right there at the post office ! So pretty , the tags were wrapped in tissue with a millinery flower and ribbon. Karla's tag is so pretty! And it has a picture of her puppies on the back, so sweet! And a doggy on the front with a crown.
