These votives are so pretty, like vintage mercury glass with a pretty rhinestone on the front , I picked these up at target, I think I have been there about 3 times a day lately with all those good deals!!!I just keep going back for more !!I think I have about 10 of these now, and thinking about going back for more of the simply shabby chic stockings for those gorgeous crown pins!

I am surprised they still had some left ..
And while my computer was being crappy I found time to make this sweet little vintage wallpaper box with one of my pretty papers I have hoarded for awhile now.. I love how it turned out, just so sweet and femanine ... And this little box I made with A pin cushion top, the sides are covered in a vintage wallpaper that is all sewn together with bits of other vintage papers, perfect for a little travel sewing kit, this would make a cute gift becasue even the paper is sewn and then the top embellished with pearly pins ,vintage trim and fabrics with some velvet millinery from my stash! Made this for my little shop, some new things for spring!
I have been trying to actually use some of the things I always hoard to make my pretty things prettier!

And I have been working on some of these sweet fairy baskets with glitter dusted vintage roses,vintage wallpaper and feathers..

Birthday Bella Giveaway!

And the inside is covered in vintage ledger paper and as you can see theres glitter everywhere!

Look at these sequined vintage stars I found on lollishops, I just love them so christmasy and pretty for any occasion really, I love them !!
How about some vintage aluminum garland from the 1940's/50's
Just listed in my shop along with velvet strawberries,vintage wallpaper and vintage baubles!!All things we girls love!!! Perfect for crafty stuff and gifts too!!!

And these two ornate vintage frames I added would make lovely gifts!! I know Heather from pretty petals really likes these ~ I like to create special gifts for christmas that will far outlast the bath gift set!

Merry Christmas

I love Christmas because it has special feeling and I like to create that special feeling in my home with vintage finds, and mostly vintage inspired Christmas decorations. I like to display vintage Christmas ones around my home .I have some real pretty vintage Germany ones you'll see in another photo. These are early 1900's, the graphics and nostalgia are so pretty ~

And with these darling angels not to be forgotten, they all have had a repair but never the less , I love them , there darling little vintage faces.
I know I have shown you this before , but it's pretty to look at again .Just very bright and all vintage . I think If I make another it will be with more pale colors to fit in more with my palette .
My favorite Christmas decorations are from Wendy
Addison and Nicole Sayre~ I love all there Christmas stuff, the little box is even cute on the inside, with vintage style sheet music and inside was a small vintage style mercury glass ornament, those are the little details that I just Love.
This sweet old world style Santa I got at target last year , seemed to make a fit next to my huge stack of Rachel Ashwell books and my endless supply of all the magazines
we all love.
A sweet little mica flake covered cottage glows in the evening with the sweetest bottle brush trees and snow covered eave's. This makes a lovely addition to my vintage inspired collection, I just picked it up at a show I did with my friend Jenny, over the last two weeks this was my first show and I tell ya , it's has been a lot
of work

These poinsettias are really glittery , more than the picture shows, they just sparkle all the time ,and this is where I tucked
my sequined and now rhinestone embellished bird, I did have this clipped on to my chandelier because it really sparkled ,and I had removed it to clean my chandelier, when
I went to clip it back on ,I didn't clip it on right to keep it away from the bulb and about an hour later my daughter said she smelled smoke and sure enough my precious bird I spent a small fortune on was on fire, so therefore it now has a huge vintage rhinestone on it to cover up the burn hole.This happened about a week ago ,so now I have found a new home for it, perched on pretty blue poinsettias.

Jessi really spoiled me, and she knows just the things I love so much! I had the funnest time just opening everything, everything was individually wrapped so pretty , it took me a few minutes to open it all. Ribbons,house,stockings,vintage christmas cards,tags,little tidbits of vintage FUN and so much more ! I loved it all ,Thank you Jessi! You ROCK! I would like to know also if anyone else has recieved theres???

And this ~ I had no idea Rachel Ashwell had another dvd out!!! I have all her other three and I can't wait to watch this today! I paid for the one day shipping at Amazon yesterday , so it's supposed to be here today . I wonder how they get it here so fast??? Did I tell you I am a RA fan??!! Oh, I am ..obviously to pay 13.00 in shipping to have this today!!!

Sugar cookie with sprinkles & a PARTY!

I made a batch of cookies just for Scappy Jessi's Cookie swap ,only I did have a little help!

My cookies were made with a little help from this guy! pillsbury sugar cookies, then I added vanilla frosting with red and green sprinkles , and they turned out so yummy! I let my girls sprinkle them . My oldest daughter wants a cupcake maker for christmas , have you seen them? They make cupcakes in 30 seconds?

Here it is, looks so cute and easy . I just wonder how the cupcake cooks so fast!:) And if it tastes good? Anyone else getting one of these?
