I am decorating all the chandeliers with vintage ornaments , I couldn't help it, this past weekend I put up the tree and some christmas decorations.I think it just sounds early but it really isn't because Thanksgiving comes a week later this year than it normally does, so that is my reason for already decorating, that and I LOVE Christmas ~ I love the chilly days and being in line at Starbucks and they have there Christmas cups out , the red ones, it just says Christmas is here..I love it. Heres another decorated chandelier, I have one more to do and that one , I will use my fancier vintage ornaments, lets just hope the kids don't get any ideas to throw things! lol:)
I bought these cute little tinsel trees from
Lidy and they are adorable ! They look so vintagy and I decorated them with petite vintage colored mercury glass ornaments .
They have glittered stars on top ~ And these sweet paper ornaments made by my six year old daughter , she really is quite the artist and likes to make things and play with glitter .When she was making these ornaments it reminded me of all the crafts I made when I was little in school and at home .. Paper chains,paper ornaments from toilet paper rolls, one year my mom made m&m ornaments from felt , they were really cute ..
Just a little thought , I like to make christmas cookies with the
girls and let them do the sprinkels .

I have been gathering christmas stuff from a little bit of everywhere , these mini shiny brite ornamnts I found on etsy and the vintage bottlebrush trees with glass mercury beads and the vintage tinsel I picked up at an antique shop. I love the tinsel, it's like a foil and red plastic all twisted, hopefully you can see it in the picture..
With all that said , I must head back to my studio to create more ornaments and think of ideas for the kid's christmas tree, I put up two every year , one for me with all my vintage ornaments that I keep in my room away from the kiddos and then the kids have theres in the living room, I am think of a vintage candy colored theme.
